Connect your AI assistant

BoxFlipping gives every workspace its own API, so your AI assistant can work with your inventory the same way you do. Tell it about a product and it lands in BoxFlipping as a draft. Nothing lists until you approve it.

How it works

Get a token. In the app, open Settings, then API access, and create a token for your assistant.
Paste it into your assistant. The token is shown once. Copy it, paste it in, and your assistant can reach your workspace.
Talk to it. Add products, update prices, upload photos, and check listing status. Your assistant follows the same rules you do: nothing publishes to eBay until a product passes quality review.

Products straight from your email

Most products start as emails: an order confirmation when you buy something, a delivery note when it lands. Your assistant can watch the inbox you choose and turn those deliveries into drafts for you. The setup prompt you paste in teaches it exactly how:

Tell it which inbox to watch. Your assistant asks which email account or accounts hold your product orders. If you sell under more than one shop account, it asks which shop account each email address belongs to, so every product lands in the right shop.
It checks what was delivered. When a delivery email arrives, your assistant follows the product link in the email and opens the product page. It confirms the product from the page itself before importing anything. If it cannot confirm a product from its page, it flags the product to you instead of guessing.
Your skip list rules. Before the first import, your assistant asks which kinds of products you never want brought over: food and drinks, consumables, anything you name. Your list is kept and skipped every time. There is no built-in list; yours is the only one that counts.
Everything else becomes a draft. Each delivered order imports as its own draft, so ordering the same product twice gives you two drafts. Drafts never list on their own; you review and approve every one, the same as products you add by hand.

You stay in control

Tokens are scoped. Give your assistant only the permissions it needs: reading, creating, or publishing.
Tokens work only inside your workspace. They can never touch anyone else's products.
Every action is logged, so you can see exactly what your assistant did.
Revoke a token any time and it stops working instantly.
